The STOP Program has assisted over 10,000 Hutchinson residents obtain low-cost, quality spay/neuter services and has made a direct impact reducing euthanization rates due to pet overpopulation. We believe that spay/neuter services should be financially accessible for everyone with a cat or dog who might not otherwise be able to spay/neuter their pets.
If you have a friend, family member, or neighbor with unaltered pets that may need financial assistance for spay/neuter services, please encourage them to contact us for more information!
Spay/neuter vouchers also include rabies vaccinations and are issued on a needs basis to Reno County residents.
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE
- Provide proof of residency within the cities of Hutchinson or South Hutchinson. Some acceptable documents with your name and address include:
- Utility Bill
- Rental Agreement
- Property Tax Statement
- Provide proof of income. Some acceptable documents include:
- Most Recent Pay Stub
- Previous Year's Tax Return
- Unemployment Benefits Letter
- SSI/SSDI Benefits Letter
